About Us

Our Mission is to transform the UK through connected solutions.

Founded in 2019 as the UK’s largest 5G testbed, WM5G has evolved into a delivery‑focused organisation helping partners turn digital ambition into real, measurable outcomes. What began as a platform for testing new technology now supports organisations to move confidently from innovation to deployment at scale.

We are an independent, publicly owned organisation working across the West Midlands and nationally. We combine deep sector expertise with a customer‑first, technology‑agnostic approach helping partners select and deliver the right solutions, not just the latest ones. While our roots are in advanced connectivity, our work now spans data, AI and digital services, alongside the people, process and culture change needed to make transformation stick. With decades of hands‑on experience across health & care, connectivity and complex delivery environments, our teams move quickly from strategy to delivery with impact that lasts.
