As part of the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology’s 5G Innovation Region’s programme, our Technology Enabled Care programme is making a positive impact across the region, helping more citizens integrate technology into their lives to enjoy greater independence and live safely at home for longer.
With proven benefits including improved quality of life for citizens, quicker response times, and increased reassurance and peace of mind – along with reductions in avoidable hospital admissions and significant financial benefits for local authorities – it was an invaluable opportunity to share learnings and best practice that will shape service delivery across the region and further afield.
