Members of the West Midlands 5G team have been quoted in Midlands Business Insider in an article on how UK SMEs in the aerospace sector have benefitted from the installation of a 5G network.
Lorraine Stone and Mark Stansfeld spoke about the impact that 5G has made on West Midlands-based businesses and how it can help other firms to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Speaking about the trial, Lorraine commented that “This is the first deployment of a 5G network in a UK SME manufacturer. Most SMEs wouldn’t know where to start with 5G, and this is about creating a ‘how to’ guide and finding out what questions SMEs will have. It’s about getting answers to those questions about costs and what the return on investment will be.”
