We’ll be joining West Midlands Health Technologies Cluster (WMHTC) in hosting an online roadshow meeting to discuss our Citizen Wellbeing testbed.

Represented by our Health & Social Care Lead Adrian Smith, we will be detailing our trials and discussing the benefits we’re already seeing from utilising 5G for healthcare innovation in the West Midlands.

Taking place on the 09th December at 10AM the meeting will present the opportunity to learn more about the work we’re doing, particularly around our 5G health focused Citizen Wellbeing testbed.

In common with the rest of the UK, the West Midlands needs to reduce pressure on health and care systems, helping citizens to better manage their own health.

5G is a key component of this, with its aim of providing the connectivity to deliver care and support away from the clinic and in the community or at home.

During this session you’ll learn:

  • Details of trials underway in the region and already delivering benefits
  • How, by using 5G to spearhead healthcare innovation, the West Midlands is leading the way in improving patient care and transforming healthcare productivity.
  • About recent development from the West Midlands Health Technologies Cluster.
