5PRING launched the 5G smart manufacturing programme looking for innovators with advanced digital technology solutions with applications in the manufacturing space.

The Manufacturing Accelerator programme launched in partnership with BAM Nuttal, a leading infrastructure provider in the UK and part of Royal BAM Group; Attocore, developers of ultra-mobile core network software technology; Building and Research Establishment (BRE), aworld leading, multi-disciplinary, building science centre with a mission to improve buildings and infrastructure; Make UK, representing manufacturers in the United Kingdom and stimulates success for manufacturing businesses; and AE Aerospace, a world-class supplier of high-quality precision machined components to the aerospace, marine, defence and advanced engineering markets; BAE Systems, a British multinational arms, security, and aerospace company.

5PRING was launched in 2020 as the UK’s first region-wide 5G test bed and brings together industry giants O2DeloitteWayra UKDigital Catapult and West Midlands 5G. 5PRING supports organisations with challenges or opportunities that 5G has the potential to be instrumental in, with the innovators in the space such as start-ups and scale ups to work on 5G use cases and help accelerate their route to market.
