About the 5PRING Mentorship

The 5PRING mentorship scheme has been created to enable experts like yourself to support entrepreneurs to become trailblazers in their industries and turn 5PRING into a unicorn. These entrepreneurs are working at startups that are pioneers in leveraging 5G across different industry verticals, addressing challenges set by leading corporates and organisations.

This is your chance to engage and work with innovators and tech disruptors from all across the UK and around the world!

About 5PRING

5PRING was launched a year ago as UK’s first commercial 5G application accelerator and is powered by industry giants Wayra UK, O2, Deloitte, Digital Catapult and West Midlands 5G. 5PRING is a 5G open-innovation accelerator that connects startups and scaleups with corporates to generate joint 5G powered business opportunities.

How are mentors getting involved?

5PRING Mentors will support and educate startup founders in the 5PRING Accelerator Programmes which include construction, smart cities, manufacturing, sustainability, healthcare and more. Once you are confirmed to be a part of the 5PRING mentor network, we will reach out to you with opportunities and enable you to select where and who you think you will be able to provide most value to.

How much time do mentors need to commit?

5PRING mentors can choose the amount of time to commit.
To ensure consistency and opportunity to benefit from mentor’s guidance, we recommend all mentors to devote at least 2 hours a month and to meet their mentees once every fortnight

To become a Mentor, you will need to be an experienced founder or be highly skilled in at least one subject area; eg. marketing, finance, legal, pricing, AI, computer vision and more.
You are required to currently or previously hold a senior management position or have entrepreneurial experience.
